SEP Open Access Publishing Agreement


Journals published by Science and Engineering Publishing Company (SEP) are open access. Copyright for articles published in any SEP journal is retained by the authors, which is released under the 'Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDeriv 2.5 License’, with first publication rights granted to SEP. To protect authors’ intellectual-property rights and publish papers successfully, authors should read the following items carefully and then sign this agreement.

IN SUBMITTING A RESEARCH ARTICLE ('ARTICLE') TO ANY JOURNALS PUBLISHED BY SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING PUBLISHING COMPANY (SEP) I CERTIFY THAT:

1. I am authorized by my co-authors to enter into these arrangements.
2. I warrant, on behalf of myself and my co-authors, that:

a. the article is original, has not been formally published elsewhere, is not under consideration by any other journal or conference and does not infringe any existing copyright or any other third party rights;
b. I am/we are the sole author(s) of the article and have full authority to enter into this agreement and in granting rights to SEP are not in breach of any other obligation. If the law requires that the article be published in the public domain, I/we will notify SEP at the time of submission upon which clauses 3 through 6 in the license agreement inclusive do not apply;
c. the article contains nothing that is unlawful, libellous, or which would, if published, constitute a breach of contract or of confidence or of commitment given to secrecy.

3. I agree to the SEP open access license agreement which is identical to the 'Creative Commons Attribution- NonCommercial-NoDeriv 2.5 License’. The Brief summary of the license agreement is listed below:

Anyone is free:
• to copy, distribute and transmit the work

Under the following conditions:

• Attribution — You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work);
• Noncommercial — You may not use this work for commercial purposes;
• No Derivative Works — You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work.
