The traditional recommendation system doesn't take the users' location into account, which leads to a decline in accuracy and personalization. The introduction of the Location Based Service (LBS) can realize the personalized recommendations better. The paper elaborated the structure of the personalized recommendation system based on LBS, and the key points and countermeasures of the system's realization.

http://www.seipub.org/recf/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=13366Research in Electronic Commerce Frontiershttp://www.seipub.org/recf/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=13366Analyze and Predict the Co-movement Effect of Risks in the Supply Chain Management2014-0
Analyze and Predict the Co-movement Effect of Risks in the Supply Chain Management

Pages 6-13

Author Tzu-Chun WengFang-Ka Cha

Abstract Supply chain includes a lot of channel members. Because of outsourcing, lean manufacturing, just-in-time (JIT) inventory, globalization and other factors, supply chain is becoming more complex and the number and scope of supply chain risk factors are significantly increasing. When risk emerges, there may be crises in the entire supply chain. This paper identifies risk factors and explores supply chain risk management issues reported in the Wall Street Journal. We apply association rules to find out the risks which may be co-incidental and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) to identify all possible failure. Then, we develop event relative data simulation (ERDS) to simulate 5000 records of transactions data. From observing the risk rules and simulation data, we can predict and propose implications for the managers that can serve as a reference in decision-making.

http://www.seipub.org/recf/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=15173Research in Electronic Commerce Frontiershttp://www.seipub.org/recf/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=15173
