This paper proposed to make philosophy more appealing and interesting to the general public through the use of interactive media and artificial intelligence technology. In particular, by examining the nature of traditional Chinese philosophy and philosophy learning, we designed a new kind of conversational agent named iSage, which emulates the famous Chinese philosopher, Confucius, to carry out automatic text-based conversation with users. Instead of reading books, people can chat with a virtual Confucius to learn about his philosophy. The interactivity and engagement afforded by the conversational interface make the system a fun and light-weight channel for communicating philosophy to the general public. In this paper, we will describe the motivation, design and implementation of the virtual philosopher system.

http://www.seipub.org/ijps/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=14901International Journal of Philosophy Studyhttp://www.seipub.org/ijps/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=14901Social Conflicts in Virtual Reality of Computer Games2014-0
Social Conflicts in Virtual Reality of Computer Games

Pages 9-13

Author Angelina DemilkhanovaOksana Denisov

Abstract The article is about the influence of the enemy’s image in computer games on the perception of real people.
