Abstract “Zijin Model” highly corresponds with the reform direction of engineering education emphasized by the Excellent Engineer Program. The core connotation is "the enterprises support the construction of education, enterprises participate in the education process, the enterprises test the effectiveness of the education"; University and enterprise build close personnel training strategic alliance; The enterprise participate in the whole training process; University and enterprise work together to develop personnel training programs, to undertake teaching tasks, to participate in teaching management, to monitor teaching quality, to develop scientific and technological innovation. Zijin Mining Group donated independent practice education centre with complete hardware facilities, collaboratively established the operation and management system for state-level practice education center and the scheme of the selection, appointment and management of enterprise "engineering" teachers. These innovative results have important reference value for similar geological and mining universities/colleges and other engineering universities/colleges.

Abstract For the teaching of the numerical analysis course, the teaching contents and the teaching methods driven by problems and applications are discussed in this paper. Some teaching contents are introduced based on proposing problems. Some teaching methods driven by problems and applied examples are given. The presented teaching conceptions and methods are necessary and feasible for the teaching of modern numerical analysis course.
